It started with Annie Whitney, an organic farmer, making her own Mac & Cheese boxes and selling them to her local community. When co-founding Annie’s Homegrown in 1989, it was her goal to create a business that is both socially responsible and successful.
As Annie’s became more popular with consumers nationwide, the product line expanded to include snacks and breakfast foods.
